Hi! I’m Tara Chandra (pronounced TAR-uh CHAAN-druh). I received my PhD in Political Science with a Designated Emphasis in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of California, Berkeley in December 2023.
I currently work as a consultant and independent researcher, with a focus on U.S. foreign policy, tech policy, and international security.
Prior to beginning my PhD, I worked in the national security/foreign policy space in Washington, D.C. The real-world implications of political phenemona have always shaped my research interests, and I am now excited to be utilizing what I learned during my PhD in the policy space.
